My grandma, owned a vacation home on one of the lakes in the northern part of the state. Every time we went, my grandma and I would go to the International Wolf Center. Quote #1:  The body is the primary mode of perceiving scale. This palm tree is in the yard of my grandma's vacation home in St. Augustine, FL. She let me pick out which one to buy at the store. I must have been 13 or 14 at the time. I was so excited to have my very own palm tree. They don't grow in Wisconsin, where I'm from so it was pretty cool. I never thought it would last but now it's over twice as tall as I am. I'm now living in the vacation home and the tree will always be a reminder of my grandma.
